The OmnipodĀ® 5 App is an automated, mobile insulin delivery system that integrates with the Dexcom G6Ā® CGM. The app makes it simple and convenient to manage blood glucose levels with no multiple daily injections and zero fingersticks. Itās designed to work in combination with the tubeless Omnipod 5 Pod, which delivers insulin through a needleless, automated system. The Omnipod 5 App also works on smartphones or tablets that have an Android operating system.
The app uses the BluetoothĀ® technology to connect to the device. It uses the Android operating system and runs on the Android version .0 or higher. Itās compatible with the deviceās Bluetooth receiver, which is required to connect to the device.
